Online training on prevailing wage now available

From the Department of Labor and Industries:

Contractors can now access online training through their Prevailing Wage Intent & Affidavit portal to learn about prevailing wage and public-works projects, plus meet the new training requirement. This training includes five videos that walk through your requirements from start to finish on a public-works project. Take the training at your own pace during any time of the day! Once completed, you'll meet the new training requirement that goes into effect July 1, 2019.

Log in to your account to begin taking the training today. Exempt contractors: You will have access to the videos in mid-June and are welcome to still take the training at that time.

Verify who needs training

Use the Verify a Contractor tool to verify the training status for your company or other businesses. For projects starting on or after July 1, 2019, contractors and awarding agencies need to add this training requirement to the items you use to verify that a business is responsible before hiring and working on public-works projects.

Learn more about the new training requirement.

We hope these improvements make it easier for you to do business with L&I.
