AGC hires new Northern District Manager


AGC of Washington has hired long-time Bellingham resident Lance Calloway as its new Northern District Manager.

Calloway, a Western Washington University graduate with a BA in Economics, comes to AGC after working in leadership roles for not-for-profit organizations in the Whatcom County area over the past 24 years. His most recent role was as the Executive Director with Whatcom Sports & Recreation for over 19 years, where he managed the organization through the acquisition of the Bellingham Sportsplex Ice & Indoor Soccer Arena in 2004 and the construction of the two lighted turf fields at the Phillips 66 Soccer Park in 2016.

Calloway has been active in the community as a longtime member of the Bellingham Bay Rotary Club, served on the board of directors for the Bellingham/Whatcom County Visitors Bureau, Whatcom Symphony and Bellingham Sister Cities, and is currently is the vice president for the Washington State Adult Soccer Association.

Lance lives in Bellingham with his wife, Heather, and their ten-year-old son, Hunter.
