Complying with New Sales Tax Payment Requirements

Legislation passed earlier this year says that without the new “Reseller Permit” contractors will be required to pay sales tax up front on all projects. Find out what to do and how to protect your business at a Sept. 10 11 - 1 p.m. “Brown Bag” event hosted by AGC’s Government Affairs Department.

This presentation will highlight the new rules that contractors must comply with for the Dept. of Revenue’s Reseller Permit which will go into effect Jan. 1 2010. In early September the Dept. of Revenue will start mailing information regarding the new permit to businesses. Dept. of Revenue staff and expert AGC members will discuss the impacts of the new permit and answer your questions.
