Safety Department Thanks Gauger, Seger and the BBQ Chefs

AGC’s Safety Department thanks Mark Gauger (Safety Director with GLY Construction) and Stephen Seger (Safety Director for Foushee & Associates Inc.) for being presenters at the Northern District Safety Forum on Aug. 7. Twenty-two members gathered a wealth of information as these two presented information on Best Practices on Safety Documentation. Afterwards all enjoyed the Safe Summer BBQ with a wonderful Salmon-grilled lunch prepared by Chuck Mather with Western Refinery Services Inc. It’s great to have members willing to share their knowledge and talents with other members!

Vendor Fair and Safety BBQ

On Aug. 6 the Safety Department had its inaugural Vendor Fair and Safety BBQ. Approximately 80+ members enjoyed a great day of food fun and networking amongst 12 vendors showing-off the latest and greatest in safety products and services. Our own David D’Hondt along with Sarah Teague (the real chef) grilled-up some mean burgers! Initial feedback was very positive so we look forward to a larger venue next year! Thank-you to all that participated!
