AGC Seeks Volunteers for NW Harvest Repair Project

AGC and AGC Education Foundation will be partnering with Rebuilding Together on Apr. 25 to provide facility repairs for Northwest Harvest and seeks volunteers to help with the work which involves weather-proofing ceiling painting/patch-up electric carpentry locks on bathroom doors and other improvements.

Across the country every year the last Saturday of April is National Rebuilding Together. Over 300000 volunteers rehabilitate 9000 homes and non-profit facilities. The work takes place in 900 cities delivering a market value of $97 million.

AGC and the AGC Education Foundation believe that service to the wider community is important during these challenging economic times. To this end we have chosen to provide facility repairs to Northwest Harvest.

Northwest Harvest fights hunger across Washington State through its network of partner food banks providing millions of nutritious meals each year to those in need.

We are seeking AGC members assistance with time and materials. All members will receive recognition in our publications and website. Join us in helping this worthwhile organization help those in need in our communities.

Please contact Jen Odland 206-284-4500 if you would like to help.
