Lee Kilcup Elected New AGC of Washington President

| At its January 23 annual meeting the AGC of Washington elected its 2009 slate of officers and board members. The officers are: |
| Lee Kilcup President |
| Lee Kilcup is CEO of GLY Construction. Kilcup became vice president of operations for GLY in 1989 and vice president of operations and estimating in 1991. In 1999 he was promoted to senior vice president and in 2001 he became GLYs president. In addition to his service on the AGCs Board Kilcup has served as president of the AGC Education Foundation. Other activities at the AGC include Labor Committee Chair WALECET Board Member and Finance and Building Committee. He has been active on the advisory board for WSU Architecture and Construction Management the board of directors for Olalla Guest Lodge and the building committees for Sahalee Country Club and Timberlake Christian Fellowship. Kilcup and his wife Anne live on Capitol Hill. |
| Tom Zamzow First Vice President |
| Tom Zamzow is Northwest Washington Branch Manager for Granite Northwest Inc. Previously he was Manager of Washington Operations for Wilder Construction which recently merged with Granite. Zamzow has 18 years of construction experience in Nevada California and Washington. He began his career as an estimator with Granite Construction Company in Reno. He is an active member of the AGC of Washington including service on its Transportation Task Force. Zamzow is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington Asphalt Paving Association (WAPA). He served as WAPA President in 2006. |
| Pat McGarry Second Vice President |
| McGarry is Vice President for Manson Construction. He started at Manson in 1968 working aboard the companys tugs and crane barges. In 1984 he opened Mansons first remote office in San Francisco and in 1991 became Vice President with responsibility for all of Mansons Northwest Alaska and International work. Pat serves on the Boards of the Seattle Marine Business Coalition and the Manufacturing Industrial Council and serves on the advisory committees for the King County South Park Bridge Project and Royal Victoria Yacht Club Construction Committee. Pat and his wife Carol are competitive sailors and hold several Northwest sailing records. |
| Steve Barger Immediate Past President |
| Steve Barger is Vice President of Business Development of Northwest Cascade Inc. in Puyallup. Northwest Cascade performs civil and geotechnical construction is one of the largest U.S. suppliers of portable sanitation with 26000 Honey Bucket units and provides septic pumping and drain cleaning services. Steve joined Northwest Cascade in 1992 as Operations Manager. He became Vice President in 1994 and President in 1996. He assumed his current position at the start of 2009. In addition to his role as President of AGC Steve is Treasurer of the Tacoma Art Museum Board of Trustees and Secretary of the Chambers Creek Foundation Board. He was formerly on the Executive Committee of the Williams College Society of Alumni. |

| Mark Seaman is the CFO and Secretary Treasurer of J.R. Abbott Construction Inc. a general construction company with offices in Seattle and Arcadia CA. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics in 1977 he worked in the San Francisco area for 20 years in real estate finance construction and asset management. He moved to Seattle in 1996 and was a Controller at McDonald Miller before being recruited by J.R. Abbott Construction Inc. as their CFO in 1998. Mark and a partnership of six others purchased J.R. Abbott Construction Inc. in May of 2006. He is an active member of the AGC of Washington and CFMA and lives in Bellevue with his wife Cindy. |
