Your Questions Answered at Brown Bag Lunch with L&I

Do you have questions regarding management of workers compensation claims? Would you like to talk directly to L&I staff about safety-related issues?

If so you are invited to a Brown Bag lunch with staff from the Department of Labor & Industries on Thursday Oct. 2 at 11 a.m. in the AGC Conference Center in Seattle. Experienced technical staff from the department will be there to answer questions you may have about your specific situation and about rules policies and the future direction of L&I generally and the workers comp program specifically.

AGC Government Affairs and Safety programs are hosting the event.

RSVP to Michele Willms at 360.352.5000 or mwillms@agcwa.com. The bag lunch will be provided. No need to plan in advance but feel free to let Michele know (by Sept. 22) if you have specific questions that you want to be sure are answered during the event. She will make sure L&I is prepared to respond.

Brown Bag meetings are a new series of periodic events offered by AGC Government Affairs program to address issues important to contractors daily operations. They will cover business operational issues such as workers comp safety and employment regulations as well as broader policy issues. AGC hopes the Brown Bags will prove useful to members activities and afford them an opportunity to become involved in the various aspects of AGCs government affairs efforts. Watch for announcements of future events and contact the Legislative Office if you have suggestions for future Brown Bag subjects.
