Seattle construction cranes a welcome sight

Have you noticed? A plethora of construction cranes is now visible across the Seattle skyline in this YouTube video. Although some are obscured or difficult to see there are 18 construction cranes -- mostly tower cranes -- in this video clip taken last week from the Seattle AGC Building.

Construction employment in Washington State grew 5.5% in the last year -- one of the largest increases in the nation -- as reported by AGC of America. Plus the Census Bureau recently announced that Seattle is the fastest growing big city in the country.
