It is no secret that the issue of sustainability is becoming increasingly important on both company and industry wide levels. To help its members take advantage of new sustainability-related opportunities AGC in partnership with the AGC Education Foundation announce an innovative member-benefit program.
To learn about it firsthand all members are invited to a free workshop on March 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the AGC Building in Seattle.
In the workshop you will learn how companies across the U.S. are using sustainability metrics like the SCORE™ Construction Sector assessment to strengthen their employee skills introduce systemized protocols and improve their bottom line. You will gain practical insights that compel all levels of management to rethink and measure the value of company-wide Strategic Pre-Construction and Construction practices with positive environmental and fiscal outcomes in mind. In addition eight lucky companies will be provided with your company’s sustainability score at no-charge.
Workshop Goals include:
- Identify how to save money while implementing sustainable initiatives that reduce environmental impacts.
- Cite case study examples of the value of implementing Green Construction Best Management Practices company-wide to achieve project management efficiency and financial savings.
- Explain how green building initiatives support unique market positioning and differentiation that will help you win work attract and retain employees and respond efficiently to upcoming regulations and green building trends.
