Lydig Announces New Management Structure
Lydig Construction announced that Larry Swartz previously President has stepped into the company’s CEO position and will continue as Chairman of the Board. Gus Gottschalk has been promoted to President of Lydig’s Western Region Group overseeing all operations out of Lydig’s Bellevue office and Ken Schwartz has been promoted to President of Lydig’s Eastern Region Group overseeing all operations out of Lydig’s Spokane office.
Additionally Glyn Slattery and Bill Dobyns have each been promoted to Vice-President of Operations in Lydig’s Western Region Group and Vince Campanella has been promoted to Vice President of Operations in Lydig’s Eastern Region Group.
These organizational enhancements were brought about to better serve the changing needs of Lydig’s clientele and to capitalize on the proven abilities of key managers. “The changes being driven by the generational evolution in businesses and the work force today combined with rapid advancements in technology require us to be more strategic and intentional in how we progress as a company to best serve the needs of our customers’ as well as our employees’ development both of which are central to our corporate mission said Swartz.
Despite a prolonged downturn in construction Lydig enters 2012 with a healthy backlog of $300 million. This backlog exemplifies Lydig’s range of clientele including data centers detention healthcare retail commercial office space financial services education municipal and midstream oil projects.
