Design Build Workshop
This workshop will address the needs of public owners and the design-build community in understanding the issues and best practices associated with using this collaborative-procurement process. Plenty of time will be allocated for questions and answers to address specific concerns expressed by workshop attendees.
Presenter: Jim Dugan, now in his 50th year practicing all forms of alternative project delivery (APD), Jim is the Division Manager of the Parametrix Tacoma Owners Representative Office, he just completed his 10th year and third term of service on the WA State Project Review Committee, is currently a GC/CM and Design Build AGC Education Foundation Instructor and frequently speaks at local and national conferences on lessons learned and best practices when using methods of alternative project delivery. Jim brings a no-nonsense boots-on-the-ground method of using recent and relevant project examples of issues and successes to teach the unique strengths of the APD tools and their use. Jim has been a Design Build practitioner since 1978 and a design build instructor since 1997.
