Design Build Workshop
This workshop will address the needs of public owners and the design-build community in understanding the issues and best practices associated with using this collaborative-procurement process. Plenty of time will be allocated for questions and answers to address specific concerns expressed by workshop attendees.
Presenters: Linneth Riley-Hall, MBA, CPPO, DBIA, is a seasoned project director at Sound Transit, currently leading the 7.8-mile design-buildFederal Way Link Extension project. With extensive experience managing complex architectural and engineering contracts worthover $15 billion, Linneth is a recognized expert in design-build and GC/CM procurement processes.
Brian Aske, FDBIA, has been a strong advocate for design-build since his first design-build project in 1996. He obtained his DBIA Professional Accreditation in 2006. Brian has served on the DBIANW Region board since 2009 and was part of the legislative committee that authored and advocated for the current design-build legislation allowing Progressive Design-Build in Washington State.
