The 2025 Washington State Legislature passed Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill (ESSB) 5814. As a result, businesses are required to collect sales tax for training and education services starting Oct. 1, 2025. The class price includes this required sales tax and fees.

Confined Space Competent Person
This seminar provides instruction using real life examples on the hazard recognition and control for conditions that are unsafe, unsanitary or dangerous to employees exposed to Confined Spaces.

Topics covered will include:

• Emphasis on identification, controls & testing controls
• Definition of OSHA/WISHA "Qualified & Competent Person
• Responsibilities/Liabilities of the Competent Person
• Responsibilities/Liabilities of the Host Employer including training requirements
• Hazard Recognition
• Ventilation Techniques
