Sound Transit Open House: Stride/North Maintenance of Way

Please join us at this Nov. 14 Sound Transit open house to learn about upcoming 2024/2025 construction contracting opportunities with the Stride Bus Rapid-Transit Program and the North Maintenance of Way project.
These opportunities are part of Sound Transit’s portfolio of vital investments that will continue to build out the region’s high-capacity transit system.

• The $2.4B Stride Bus Rapid-Transit Program is building a 45-mile system with 24 station locations on I-405 and SR 522, and a bus operations and maintenance base. Sound Transit has completed design for these projects and will advertise seven opportunities over the coming year ranging in size from approximately $10M to $250M.   
  
  
• The Maintenance of Way North project is ongoing with the agency investing in an interim facility that is now up and running. The project will hire an owner’s representative in early 2025 through our MATOK to develop long-term facility program, and currently expects to solicit for a design/builder in late 2025. The contract value is expected to be less than $50M.
  
  

Sound Transit seeks construction partners to help implement these crucial projects.
