Celebration of Women in Construction

Women in today's construction workforce continue to challenge gender stereotypes, break barriers and contribute valuable skills in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Join us at Bellingham Golf & Country Club for what promises to be an empowering and inspiring Women in Construction event, as AGCW celebrates the resilience, talent and innovation of women shaping the future of the construction industry.

This dynamic event is made possible by title sponsor Dawson Construction and hosted by AGCW and NAWIC of Puget Sound (National Association of Women in Construction). We are excited to bring together and celebrate the trailblazing women who have broken barriers and made significant contributions to construction. From architects and engineers to project managers and tradeswomen, this event highlights diverse perspectives and highlights the achievements of women in every aspect of the industry.

AGCW welcomes both members and non-members to this celebration! Non-AGC members who would like to attend, please email Lance Calloway; he will register you and provide an invoice for your $15 registration fee.

This event, open to both women and men, will provide an engaging panel discussion featuring women building their careers in construction, who are respective leaders in a variety of roles in the industry. They will share their insights, experiences, and successes/challenges (both professional and personal)) through their career journey which we expect will inspire more women to consider construction as a career path. The evening will provide networking and sharing opportunities to help develop a supportive community that champions equality and encourages more women to pursue construction careers. Appetizers and drinks will be served.

Support future Women in Construction  Join in a bidding competition on the silent auction. Monies raised will provide funding to the Bellingham Technical College Foundation for scholarships for women pursuing training in the construction trades.
